We will visit the national monument of Barro Colorado island is has 5.346 hectas of the best studied tropical forest on the planet and is located in the heart of the Panama Canal`s basin. In 1923 the island of Barro Colorado was declared biological reserve turning  on the first protected area of the country and the  second most  on the American tropic.
